Why Birth Restored?
If you have had time to check out our doula pages to get to know us better (if not go ahead and pop over), you have probably realized that our faith drives our work in the birth world. We have wanted to teach birth education for quite some time now, but we wanted to teach a curriculum that aligns with our beliefs. We finally found a course "Birth Restored" written by Akasha Hines, and can't wait to equip families for their birth experiences!
In this four part childbirth course:

You will gain a deeper understanding of God’s perfect design for pregnancy and birth. You will know how your body is designed to work and the crucial components of making the right choices early on to set yourself up for success.

You will discern the major differences between the American Birthing Culture and a God designed Uninterrupted Birth. You will become informed of the common interventions that lead 1 out of 3 women spiraling into unnecessary and often avoidable cesareans.

You will learn the profound truths of how God designed the mind, body, and spirit to work together in harmony to create an unparalleled birthing experience and gain the tools to forge a birth that is both joyful and comfortable.

You will grasp the importance of immediate newborn and postpartum care and learn how to lean into the Lord’s guidance on all of your parenting decisions.

WEEK 1
During this week you will meet in person with your instructor and classmates. We will cover Unit 1: Pregnancy & Conception as well as guide you through pregnancy specific exercises to help maintain a healthy pelvic floor and proper fetal position.
