WHAT WE BELIEVE
BirthWell Doulas believe that life begins at conception, and that God has knit together every precious baby in the womb of a chosen mother. As scripture says: children are a blessing, and we strive to glorify God while we raise our children and serve the families that come to us for care.
We believe that a woman's instinct and the design of her body enables her to do what she is created and designed for. However we know that sometimes birth plans change, and that is okay! No Mother or Baby is the same, and no birth is the same. While we are thankful for interventions when necessary, we recognize that changes in the plan can cause a lot of trauma. When intervention is necessary we are there to help navigate the change with you. Whether that means discussions during pregnancy, helping to navigate the situation in the moment, or being there to process in postpartum care. We are here for you!
We prepare for big moments like birthday parties, weddings, and even baby showers, but so often we don't take the same care in preparing for the most memorable moment in our lives- birth and postpartum! BirthWell Doulas would love to be there for you as you begin this new journey in expanding your family!

OUR GOAL
As Doulas our goal is to help you have confidence in your ability to grow, birth, and care for your new babies! In a society where pregnant women are trained to be good patients, we want to provide you with physical/emotional support as well as the education needed for making the best, most informed decisions for your family!
After you have made these decisions, it is our aim to help you get the birth you want. Birth center, hospital, home birth, epidural, or pain medicine free, we will be there with bells on! We have the tips, tricks and tools to get you through from early labor to postpartum.
Many of the conversations in our culture surrounding birth are fear based. We want to shift those conversations to be more evidence based and driven by peace not fear. No matter what your birth plan looks like, our goal is for mamas to be heard, valued, and respected. Birth is unpredictable. Whether you get all of your birth wishes or your birth story changes, we want you to know that you are loved and supported.
